Artist Somsak Between East and West Born in a small bamboo shed in Northern Thailand, I was raised amidst an overwhelming colourful nature and culture. After my Master of Fine Arts graduation in the Netherlands, I started to develop my own style of painting in composition and brushwork. With theme’s between abstract Buddhism and realistic nature I try to reflect my own living between east and west. Dancing colours of nature Nature is so beautiful I cannot paint it. Therefore I paint the feeling I have for nature and use the forms and colours from my dreams. Art is music with rhythm and emotion for the eyes.
